HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical ministry seeking to help low-income families into better housing environments through new home construction and exterior home repairs. Our aim is to create an environment of hope, dignity and a truly human existence for all God’s people. Where ever possible, we want to cooperate with other agencies that have similar purposes, and seek an ever expanding company of persons to participate in the ministry.
Our service area includes Hall, Hamilton, Howard, Merrick and York Counties in central Nebraska. With the variety of programs we offer (Home-Ownership, Roof Repair and A Brush with Kindness programs), we hope to be able to serve people throughout this five county area.

ORPHAN GRAIN TRAIN
Hours: Mon-10am-2pm; Wednesday-10am-3pm; Thursday 10am-2pm. Check on tables at worship areas for current needs/making Mercy Kits. Place donations in OGT bin at south church entance.
Pastor Reehl (see also Russian Prison Ministry) also distributes support from Orphan Grain Train to approximately 50 children's orphanages in about a 150-200 km radius of St. Petersburg, as well as some located in the Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Along with these orphanages, support has been given to a women's prison, a hospital that has a special area for burn victims, and an elderly people's Nursing Home, all in St. Petersburg proper. There continues to be a great need in all these areas for Pastor Reehl's work.
