The PEACE Dance

Sponsored by our High School Youth
NEXT DANCES on FRIDAY
May 14
June 11
July 9
Peace Lutheran has a strong presence and history in Grand Island and one of the many areas that they are known for is their offering of a monthly dance for middle school youth, grades 6-8. The dance, known by many in the community as “The Peace Dance,” has been a fixture in the Grand Island social scene for middle school youth for over 10 years.
The Peace Dance is led by our senior high youth ministry, Peace Senior Teens, an outstanding group of youth who grace the halls of many schools in Grand Island and the surrounding area. They take to heart their service and commitment to providing a wholesome and safe environment for middle school youth to socialize and enjoy themselves. We also have a dedicated group of volunteer adults who assist in chaperoning the event each month and we do enforce the same dress code for the dance as utilized by the Grand Island Public Schools.
The Peace Dance is he

dance begins at 7:30 p.m. and runs until 10:30 p.m. Youth enter the dance we do not allow them to leave until a parent picks them up.
