We really do want you to worship with us, meet people,hear the Word and learn more about this ministry. Here are a few phrases that tell you what we’re all about:Christ –Centered: We believe that there is no more significant relationship that you will have than that which Jesus has with you: “salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” Acts 4 Jesus loves you unconditionally and has saved you completely. That relationship grows every week through the Word, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Mission-Driven: We believe that the ministry happening outside the four walls of the church is as significant as anything happening inside of them. We desire to share Jesus with everyone. That passion has led us in recent years to Pacific Beach, New Orleans, Clairemont, Tijuana, China, La Jolla, Thailand, Point Loma and Kenya.
Relationship-Loving: You will find real people at St. Paul’s, people who will welcome you. None of us are perfect, and all of us believe that we don’t have to be for God to love us. There is a lot of humor and love shared whenever we get together. We are a community of faith, comprised of more than 500 believers and 200 school students that has been part of San Diego for 65 years. The name ‘Lutheran’ identifies us as people who believe, “for it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God…” Ephesians 2
