St. Paul's Lutheran School
Philosophy of Sexuality Education
"Fearfully and Wonderfully Made"
Believing that human sexuality is a gift from God (Genesis 1:27), St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School is committed to partnering with parents in the scriptural sexuality education of their children. We believe that sexuality education is best done in the home, by parents, beginning at an early age. Children need a healthy biblical understanding of who they are and how God created them. To that end we are committed to training and resourcing parents to assist in the responsibility and privilege they have in sharing with their children that they are "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139: 13-14).
Sexuality education resources for parents are available through the school office and through Mr. Steve Schedler, the Director of Youth and Family Ministries.
