Preschool Philosophy

Mission Statement:

With the help of God, it is the intention of St. Paul's Lutheran Preschool to promote the children's spiritual, emotional, social, mental, and physical growth according to their individual needs and stages of development.

Philosophy:

St. Paul's Lutheran Preschool provides daily activities that facilitate the unique spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of young children. Our competent, professional staff encourages children of all ages to learn language and develop literacy skills. Problem solving is valued with our young children and is carried out throughout the curriculum of our school.

Our staff uses positive guidance techniques that include encouragement, redirection of activities, discussion of feelings, and logical consequences of behavior. Clear limits are applied consistently.

Children learn by doing and will grow best when in a happy, safe environment where age appropriate activities are available.
